Resilience

All too often an individual who performs effectively under normal circumstances will dramatically derail when under stress and adversity.

We define resilience as the capacity to adapt positively to pressure, setbacks, challenge and change, in order to achieve peak performance and maintain well-being.  

The Resilience Questionnaire focuses on the aspects of an individual’s psychological resilience, patterns of thinking and behaviour that affect their ability to respond positively to setbacks and challenges. 

The tool can be integrated into a range of talent management activities including coaching, self-development workshops, blended learning, organisational change, development of high potentials, management and leadership development, redeployment and restructure.

How does it work? 

The profile suggests strategies to develop each of the 8 measures of resilience and explains what happens during times of crisis using the Thrive Cycle of Resilience along with an action plan for development. 

Our programme focuses on an introduction to resilience, along with an exploration of the resilience profile and an opportunity to identify personal resilience strengths and development areas.  We include further support with coaching to give a deeper understanding of how to develop techniques to increase resilience and the ability to deal with challenge, setbacks and change at work with confidence.
