#Spacetotalk
Space to talk in an Equality, Diversity and Inclusion initiative founded by our own Metra Rowe and James Jackson who is one of our valued Starling Partners.
They are leaders, activists and agents of change and their aim is to make this world a better place to work and live for future generations to come by being part of the solution and creating a safe space to talk.
Through this initiative they have a vision of a world where …
- Everyone has equity and equal opportunity to make the most of their lives and talents.
- Diverse sets of perspectives, energies, abilities, cultural, life and work experiences are welcomed and respected.
- Inclusivity is a way of life and everyone has a sense of belonging and community.
Be part of the solution, lead the change and build allyship.

At the core of their being, Metra and James believe that no one should have lesser life chances because of the way they were born, where they came from, what they believe, or whether they have a disability.

The way a #spacetotalk works!
It’s fairly typical for us to open with a specific topic whilst never rigidly applying constraints to the discussion. We ask prickly questions to get under the skin of issues and use language that others might find uncomfortable. However, this allows us to tap into the collective views and perspectives in a safe and open forum.
Using our lived experience and expertise we demonstrate good practice and include all EPIC (Ethic Populations, Intersectionality and Cultures) audiences across organisations, education settings and communities.
Our role is to take an alternative viewpoint on your challenges – whatever they may be.
